With the sun shining on our College Road site over in Whetstone, Leicestershire, we thought this would as good a time as any to provide a project update!
As you can see from the picture, the first bungalow is up to beam and block level, with the second one following on shortly behind. The drainage, civils, foundations and substructure are all in and we’ll shortly be starting on the superstructure.
Over the next few weeks, the structure of the bungalows will take shape and once the roof is on and windows and doors are installed, we’ll be able to push on with the internal works.
The College Road development will see the delivery of 2no. new-build dementia-friendly bungalows, delivered in partnership with emh group and John Lester Partnership Limited, to directly address the specialist housing needs of Whetstone and the local area. It is also our first partnership with emh group and we look forward to handing over a completed, high-quality pair of homes later on this year.
