The announcement of the New Year, New Charity is always a highlight of the Harper HQ Calendar, and this year is no exception.
It is our absolute delight to share the news that our West Midlands Construction Company will be fundraising in 2026 for a West Midlands Charity … Acorns Children’s Hospice
Acorns Children’s Hospice offers a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support for local children and their families; their services include short breaks for children within the hospices, therapeutic and psychosocial support as well as offering support for siblings and other family members.
£14 could fund a half-hour physiotherapy session for a child. These sessions help to ease pain, support movement and bring comfort.
£54 could fund one hour of care for a child in one of their hospices.
In the past year, they have supported 781 children and 1,045 families across the West Midlands, including those who have been bereaved.
