LHC/WPA Framework Appointment

J. Harper & Sons (Leominster) Ltd are proud to announce their appointment as one of the chosen contractors for the LHC and WPA H1 WS2 Wales and Southwest England Frameworks.

The framework will run over four years (2018 – 2022) and J. Harper & Sons (Leominster) Ltd have been awarded the following lots:

  • 1-15 units – Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Bristol/Bath area
  • 16-49 units – Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Bristol/Bath area
  • 1-15 units – Mid Wales
  • 16 – 49 units – Mid Wales

LHC is a not-for-profit organisation and central purchasing body providing procurement services on behalf of Contracting Authorities and the H1 Framework will be the first Housing Framework LHC has published.

Neil Barker, Director of WPA said “We are very pleased to have the first Housing Construction framework in place now, after many months of pre-tender consultation work and the completion of the tender evaluations. WPA are now looking to help Housing Associations and Councils across Wales deliver on their new-build housing development aspirations. The Welsh Government have a target of delivering 20,000 new affordable homes by the end of this Parliament. We believe that our procurement route offers a compliant, flexible and efficient procurement option for organisations looking to work with fully evaluated building contractors to deliver excellent quality homes towards this target.”
