Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the project team and board members from Two Rivers Housing to our Johnstone Close site for a tour of the new homes.
We were blessed with some beautiful winter sunshine and the freezing temperatures provided a perfect opportunity to showcase the Air Source Heat Pumps in action.
This development has seen the remarkable transformation from a former sheltered housing scheme which needed re-design and modernisation, into 20 energy-efficient, modern and much-needed affordable homes.
The homes comprise a mixture of one-bedroom flats, bungalows and two- and three-bedroom houses, allocated for affordable rent and Shared Ownership to serve the housing needs of the local community.
We can’t wait for the tenants to move into their new homes in the idyllic location of Staunton (and maybe try out the new and improved skittles alley that Harpers proudly reinstalled at The Swan Community Hub!)
